Dear Acupuncture Students,

Next week the Program Leader, Dr David Schievenin will be writing to you all to communicate some important changes that are occurring within your Industry and to your accredited Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) program.

This notice serves as an early advisement of this.  The Acupuncture Department are currently finalising all necessary communications and relevant documentation to open discussions with you all about how and if any changes will impact your progression.  Modifications to the course structure are the result of student feedback, input from academics, discussions among the Chinese Medicine department and recommendations from the Chinese Medicine Accreditation Committee (reporting to the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA)). The main focus of these changes is to better equip students with their study and ensure graduates continue to align with the demands of the industry as a registered professional.

It is important that until you receive access to this information and are engaged directly as to your individualised study plan that you continue as you would normally do through your currently enrolled subjects.  We will ensure that all your questions are answered and we have purpose built a transition Hub for you to directly access this information and communicate with the Program Leader directly.

During some testing today we noted that this site became active and some of you may have received access this to hub before it has been finalised – we request your patience as this is not yet complete. The transition Hub

has now been closed until all information can be released and discussed with those students who meet the criteria to transition to the newest version of the Acupuncture Degree. We apologise for any confusion caused and will be contacting Acupuncture students via email to discuss the transition plans along with supporting documents in the coming days.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
