Dear Melbourne Students,

With a focus on the commitment to the health and safety of all students, staff and clients across the College, we wanted to let you know that we are closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus situation in Victoria and are in regular contact with the relevant government and health authorities.

The current Victorian State Government postcode ‘stay at home’ directive still allows people to leave home for work, school, care or caregiving, daily exercise, food/ daily essentials.  Based on this directive the college has determined to continue to open on July 6th for the practical and clinical completion classes.  

General Updates:

  • Victoria State Government Health and Human Services COVID -19  latest updates,  new restrictions hotzones, current testing sites.
  • Additional health and safety measures have been implemented for students', staff and clients on-campus.  
  • Additional security guard onsite, effective 1.7.2020 (7am-6pm Monday to Saturday) who will be implementing temperature checking for all people entering the campus.
  • Any person that tests for a temperature of 38 degrees or above, will be not be permitted to enter the campus.
  • Further temperature checks will be taken for all clinic clients at the clinic reception (this will be done nationally as well). 
  • Maximum of 3 people in the lifts. (* plan your arrival time accordingly).
  • The above will stay in place until further directive from the Victoria State Government about the easing of restrictions.
  • Students who are sick with cold and flu-like symptoms must NOT attend college and can connect with their Lecturer directly to discuss class options.

In all cases, if you feel affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, please contact the student services team on 1300 462 887 (ext.2)  or submit a ticket via https://help.endeavour.edu.au/ if you are in practicals or clinics then connect with the Lecturer or Clinic Supervisor as per the attendance policy.


Based on your personal circumstances we would recommend that you assess your own personal situation to support informed risk assessment regarding the suitability of returning to the on-campus college environment and completing the practical and clinical classes, after all this is an individual decision.

 Practicals and Clinic classes Special Consideration / Make Up Processes.

  • If you cannot attend due to illness you are to connect directly with your Lecturer/Clinic Supervisor and discuss the class make-up process as applicable.For attendance the Special Consideration Application process is still in place via the Resources and Links > Forms section on the  Student Portal.  
  • The college will continue to work with students on a case by case basis based on presenting circumstances.
  • All students will continue to be required to complete clinic make-ups for any clinics missed to date, the process for the application of clinic make-ups remains the same and the college will support students in making up clinics to meet the subject outline requirements. Please contact your Clinic Supervisor for further clarification.

Client Updates:

  • All clients have been contacted and a notification posted on the website for Melbourne clients  https://www.endeavourclinic.com.au/covid-19-information/
  • Clients who reside or work in the affected postcodes have been advised to stay home and not attend the clinic.
  • Clients who are sick with cold and flu-like symptoms must NOT attend clinic and can reschedule their appointment by calling 1300 859 785.

We respect and understand that you may be nervous and anxious about returning to the campus environment. We would like to assure you that the college has health and safety protocols in place which adhere to the best practice standards to support the health and safety of students, staff and visitors on campus with the aim to ensure a COVID-19 free clinic and campus. This is inclusive of reduced contact hours as applicable,  PPE,  physical distancing, disinfectant protocols, increased cleaning protocols.
