Dear Students,

Welcome to week 6 of your studies and at this point, your studies are planned, assessments and assignment dates are in the calendar and you are working on counterbalance as you juggle study and life commitments as you work towards your Degree goals and career plans.

At times it is good to check in with your goals and aims and also see how the industry is trending within the complementary medicine space and please see the below events and links for reference.

Grand Rounds:

Across the 12th and 13th of September, a number of Grand Rounds events will roll out at each campus. The grand rounds events are designed to showcase case studies and applications as an educational platform to learn from experts in the field and to also expand on clinical reasoning application and results.  Please see below a sample of topics that will be advertised via facebook and posters on Campus so keep an eye out and be certain to attend any that may be of interest.

  • ADL 13th September 6.30PM, The link between nutrition and genetics
  • BNE 12th September 6.30PM, Exploring and targeting cerebellar pathologies
  • MEL 11th September 6.30PM, A review of Forest Therapy Research
  • PER 12th September 9 AM, Sleeping with the enemy, how to work in harmony with Western Medicine
  • GC 12th September 6.30PM, The vaginal microbiome in clinical practice
  • SYD 13th September 7.00PM, The increasing problem of persistent pain

Careers Planner

The career planner tool has been created to allow you to invest time in identifying your ideal career path which will enable you to start planning for your future career whilst studying. This tool supports you in identifying your values, career goal, strengths and opportunities available to you.  Please see the links below to a series of tools available.

Research Department
The Office of Research has a range of initiatives and programs designed to support a research positive environment, that drives practice-driven research within complementary medicine.  Please see the below links that will allow you further insight into research at Endeavour and how you can become involved with Summer Research or Honours programs.

  • Book tutorials with the local Academic team - LMS/ learning resources/ Campus/Academic consultation
  • Join a campus or online study group - LMS/ learning resources/ Campus/Academic consultation

  • the Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a support line that you can contact in confidence at any time, all caller identification is de-identified and the service is provided for free for a series of calls.  The contact number is through Access SAP( website link) and the contact number is 1800 33 62 07.(24/7). Think of this as your own personal coach in times of stress as you discuss support tools and strategies to put into place based on the circumstances at hand.
