In
order to provide a timetable for Endeavour students that is based on accurate
information and meets student progression requirements, we have revised the
timetable release dates for Semester 1, Semester 2 and Summer School.
Instead of releasing an annual timetable in advance, the schedule will be as follows:

This is consistent with the practice of the majority of universities and colleges in Australia and will be implemented from 2019 onwards.
Timetables are built around offering subjects in the same semester according to the course structure, the number of students who are eligible to enrol into a subject, the availability of facilities and staffing and the specific requirements of each campus.
Releasing the timetable for Summer School before Semester 1 will allow us to make any necessary adjustments to the Semester 1 Timetable, based on the level of interest in Summer School and will minimise the need to make changes after the timetable has been published.
Releasing the timetable for Semester 2 after the Semester 1 census date will ensure that the number of eligible students is calculated accurately based on subjects undertaken in Semester 1 and reduce instances where classes are cancelled due to insufficient enrolments.
Another plan to be implemented is that timetables will be made available for you to view up to a week before allocation to classes and clinics opens. This will allow you to look at what subjects are offered and when they are scheduled in the timetable and plan for your allocation. Some classes and clinics will always fill before others, so having Plan A and Plan B and possibly a Plan C in place will help to relieve the pressure of choosing your timetable.
We hope that these changes will assist you in achieving a practical timetable and balancing your study with other commitments.
