Dear Students,

Welcome to week 2 of the semester and we hope that the first week has gone well as you have started to settle into the semester ahead. This week will have allowed you to assess your study load commitments across the semester and put planning in place to manage a commitment to study and juggle this alongside family/work and life.

Remember to keep your planning SMART and make these steps smart for you;  

  • SPECIFIC- schedule in study times and assessment start times to make certain you are on track for meeting assessment deadlines.
  • MEASURABLE – make it measurable with small steps to achieve a larger goal.

  • ATTAINABLE – keep it realistic and attainable based on your schedule.  

  • RELEVANT – focus on the relevant and the most important tasks on hand.

  • TIMEBOUND – set study times, assignment working schedules and start with these, adjust as needed but keep on track …

 Use the latest tech tools that can help you plan for success;

  • The Calm App - study is stressful–for meditation, rebalancing and sleep.

Over the coming weeks, there will be a series of activities on campus and we invite you to participate in these, respecting your busy schedules there will also be webinar series available for you to connect with, details below:

  • Keep an eye out for International student’s coffee and chat sessions/Coffee day on campus, connect with and welcome International students on campus.
  • Keep an eye out for careers service>events who host a wide range of webinars from graduate success stories to showcasing practitioner-based research, click here
  • Student market day is being updated to Student Connect day and is in the planning stages if you would like to be involved you can register your interest with the Campus Manager team
    • register your interest in holding a market stall and we look forward to welcoming student voice representatives and student representatives on the day so you can connect with your on-campus student representative body.

Mental Health First Aid  - Online Course for Students –Free.

THE MHFA (Mental Health First Australia) is currently offering all Bachelor of Health Sciences, tertiary students the opportunity to complete the online component part of the Mental Health First Aid Course for Free

  • This offer expires in June 2019 so if you are interested in adding this valuable skill, please do take this opportunity and make it a plan to complete over the next few months. Further details can be found on the MHFA website under Tertiary Students, full details on how to register are in the notifications section on the student portal.

  • Course Progression – need to adapt your study load  - remember to think about the pre-req and co-req planning for S2|19, connect with course.progression@endeavour.edu.au – they can help you into the upcoming online subjects in April to time with result release for S2|19 and planning into intakes for May, June and July.

  • Connect with the SAP (Student Assistance Program) 1800 336 207 (24/7), a confidential counselling program available for personal and study related matters, think of this as a personal coach that can support you in challenging situations.
