Thank you for your patience on Tuesday as our system went down for a short while for urgent maintenance. Unfortunately further maintenance will be required to ensure our systems are working at their best. This means the following documents on LMS will be unavailable from 8am (AEDT) Friday 13 December through to the end of Sunday 15 December:
- Lecture slides
- Tutorial notes
- Handouts
- Assessment guides
- Readings
- Subject Outlines
Please note: All videos and links will still be available,
as will the LMS itself, but the documents within the LMS will be unavailable at
this time (e.g. PDFs, Word docs, PowerPoint slides, assessment guidelines).
Due to this outage, the College has decided to extend ALL assessment due this weekend by 3 days; this includes online quizzes and any assignments due by Sunday, 15 December. All of these assessment items will now be due at 11.55pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, 18 December.
Students affected by this outage will need to take the following actions:
- September online students and deferred exam students – please download ALL materials you may need for exam study by the end of Thursday, 12 December.
- October, November and December online students and deferred assessment students – if you have an assessment due this weekend, please note the extended due date will now be Wednesday 18 December. It is advisable that you also download required course materials including assessment guides if you still want to work on your assessments over the weekend.
If you feel there are other circumstances which further
impact on your ability to complete your assessment by the new due date, you are
of course still welcome to use the usual Special Circumstances Application
process.
In addition, the same maintenance issue will affect printing
on campus. If you plan on attending a campus library during this time, please
note there will be no printing services available.
We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience but hope you understand the need for the maintenance, which is to improve our systems to make them work better for our students in the long run.
