Dear Students,

Welcome to week 3 and as you start to settle into the semester ahead please see a few reminders below.

Student Market Day - August 14th

All campuses will host market day on Tuesday and we encourage you all to participate, meet the stall holders, pick up some great products and have a fun day on campus, as sometimes mixing up the serious side of study with a welcome break before, between or after class can allow you time to connect with the environment around you and all our entrepreneurial students who are setting up stalls on the day, with a selection of great products that embody natural health.

QILT survey

The QILT (Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching), SES (Student Experience Survey) is now live, this is an independent survey about your teaching and learning experience at the College and is conducted by QILT. You will have received a survey link and we encourage you to give feedback as this will allow the College to benchmark against other higher education institutes and allow us to work on areas for continuous process improvement. For more information go to the QILT website

Census Date August 24th

Please note that Census date is August 24th  this is the date when you finalize your enrolment.

  • You are able to withdraw or drop subjects up until Census date without penalty and you can manage this via the student portal by dropping a subject.
  • If you withdraw or drop a subject after Census date you will have to pay fees, if you have a FEE-HELP loan you will incur a debt.

It is important to manage your study load at this time and consider how to balance or counterbalance the current commitments in your life, how to manage and plan for your study load to ensure success with the current subjects you are enrolled into. If you would like support in working on course progression please email courseprogression@endeavour.edu.au or book an appointment with a student services advisor under my courses tab student consultations.

The website has access to the following which can also help you plan any changes to study based on course outlinessubject outlines and online calendars and online subjects for 2018.  Many of these resources are also found in the student portal under the manage timetable link and this will allow you to manage your studies over the next few weeks based on your circumstances.

LMS Support
Be certain to also use the range of resources on the LMS under the library and learning resources tab for tutorial booking, academic skills support, researching skills support and book tutorials with the academic teams.

SAP Support

Connect with Student Assistance Program  (SAP)  in confidence at any time, all caller identification is de-identified and the service is provided for free for a series of calls.  The contact number is through Access SAP ( website link), an independent third party provider and the contact number is 1800 336 207. Often a good way to think about this is to think of this as a personal coach in times of stress and they can talk through options and put strategies in place that support your current circumstances in times of stress whether it be study related or a sudden change in personal circumstances.

Have a great week ahead as you start to settle into your classes and hit the books as you begin to learn, expand, consolidate and build expertise in the subjects you are studying.

Thought for the week ahead...do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do.....
